About Me!Hi! I’m Aparna Yellamraju, a designer who loves Figma-ing, brainstorming, and turning ideas into experiences that stretch both imagination and skill. I’m currently pursuing a B.S. in Integrated Design & Media with a minor in Computer Science at NYU, where I explore how design, technology, and people intersect.
When I’m not designing, I’m probably singing with NY Masti, NYU’s premier South Asian a cappella group, or thinking a few moves ahead as a chess player on the NYU Collegiate team. I spend weekends at the chess forum playing pickup games, trading Spotify playlists, and chasing down ice cream trucks, even when it’s freezing.
If I’m not in New York, I’m usually back home in Austin, Texas wearing shorts in December, or somewhere else in the world reconnecting with friends and practicing Turkish, Spanish, or French. I’m endlessly curious, fueled by learning, and excited by design that feels human, expressive, and a little unexpected.
